Ingredients
Mushroom (button) - 250 gms (1 box)
Capsicum - 2 (I have used yellow and red)
Green chilli - 4 slit lengthwise
Onion - 1/2 or 1 finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Method
First clean the mushrooms and slit them into half. Chop the onions finely. Cut the capsicum into half, deseed it and again cut it lengthwise.
In a kadai add oil. Add ginger garlic paste and onions. Saute it till the raw smell of garlic goes and the onions become golden brown. Add the green chillies and saute them too.
Add the capsicum. Cook it for a while with continuous tossing. Add the mushrooms. Cook it in medium flame. Keep tossing in between. The mushrooms will leave water and then become soft. Cook till the water is fully absorbed. Now turn the flame to high, keep tossing and add salt and pepper powder. Add the curry leaves. Remove it from heat and add lemon juice.
Serve hot as a starter or alternator with roti/chapati.
