Akki rotti

Akki rotti - It is a popular Breakfast recipe in Karnataka. Served along with coconut chutney it is tasty and healthy also. It is also a simple recipe. You may also like recipe of Ragi rotti
Ingredients
Rice flour - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
Carrot - 1 small grated
Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
Ginger - 1 inch finely chopped or grated
Coriander leaves - few finely chopped
Salt - for taste.
Method
First chop or grate the vegetables as necessary. In a large mixing bowl, take rice flour, chopped onions, coriander leaves, grated ginger and carrots. Add salt for taste. Add a tsp of hot oil. Add water slowly and mix it to form a soft dough.
Cut a milk cover. Spread oil on it. Take a small ball from this dough mix. Pat this on the milk cover. (You can use banana leaf or aluminum foil if you want). Pat it as thin as possible.
Keep the tawa to heat. Transfer the rotti from the cover to the tawa carefully. Cook on medium or low flame. Smear some oil on rotti. Cook on both sides.
Serve hot with coconut chutney
