Halasina kayi (Raw jackfruit/gujje) dosa

Halasina kayi (Raw jackfruit/gujje) dosa - This is an instant dosa recipe which does not need fermentation. It does not need any side dish like chutney also. Prepared using simple ingredients. We have to use non ripe jackfruit which is not tender for the recipe.
The jackfruit leaves a kind of gum, so it's advised to use coconut oil on your hands while you are cleaning the jackfruit.
Ingredients (1 cup = 250 mg)
Raw rice - 1 cup (any dosa rice will do)
Raw jackfruit with seeds removed & cut into small pieces - 2 cups
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chilli - 2 to 3
Salt for taste
Method
Soak the rice for about 4 to 5 hours. 
De seed the raw jackfruit and cut into small pieces
In a mixie (blender) or grinder add the rice, jackfruit, coconut and green chilli and grind it into a smooth batter. Add water as necessary. The batter should be like any other dosa batter in consistency. Add salt for taste.
You can make dosa immediately from this batter. No need for fermentation. 
Heat the dosa tawa. Take a laddle full of batter. Pour paper thin dosa on the tawa. Turn and cook on both sides. 
Dosa is ready. You can eat it just like that or with ginger chutney or honey.
1. If you are not making dosa on same day or if there is extra batter you have to refrigerate it.
2. You can add ghee or butter for extra flavour
