Bhutte ke kheees

Bhutte ke kheees - This is a famous street food speciality from Indore region. I have learnt it from Google only. Bhutte means corn and khees means grated. It is a filling snack and quite easy to make.
Ingredients
Corn cobs - 3 medium sized (you can use Desi variety or sweet corn)
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
Ginger - 1 inch grated
Milk - 3/4 to 1 cup
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Hing - a pinch
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Salt for taste
Method -
Separate the corn kernels from cob using knife or by grating. Grind it into a coarse paste using blender. Take a kadai with ghee. Add mustard seeds. Roast it till the mustard splutters. Add cumin seeds and roast till golden brown. Add the grated ginger and green chillies. Add the turmeric powder and coriander powder. Add red chilli powder if you want. Now add the corn paste. Saute it for 4 to 5 minutes. Add milk and salt for taste. Mix well. Keep stirring in sim heat. Remove from heat after 10 min. Add lemon juice and mix well.  Serve hot.
