Uppu huli dose
Half medium sized bread fruit (jigujje/ deevi halasu) - cut into thin slices
Raw rice - 1 cup
Coriander seeds - 1 fistful (4tsp)
Cumin seeds - 3tsp
Red chilli - 8 to 10 (depending on how spicy you want)
Tamarind - size of a lemon
Salt - tastewise
Method
Soak the rice overnight or for 5 to 6 hours. Put all the ingredients in mixie or grinder except the bread fruit slices and grind. Don't add too much of water. The batter should not be very thin. There is no need to ferment the batter. Dip each slice of bread fruit in the batter and keep it on dosa tawa in a near circular shape. Keep it on low heat. Each dosa has to boil for about 15 min...heat on both sides.

1. You can use circularly cut heerekayi also instead of bread fruit

2. If the batter becomes watery cut onions or green leafy vegetables and make dosa. It tastes yummy.
