Mango halwa

Mango halwa - In front of my house there is a mango tree and this year there were lots of mangoes. I wanted to try something new from the mangoes. So I googled for some recipes. I liked mango halwa and tried making it. I have combined 2 to 3 recipes and also added a touch of my own. As I added less sugar, the sour taste of mango remained and it was amazing.
Ingredients
Mango pulp - 2 cup
Sugar -3/4 cup
Milk -1/2 cup
Maida (all purpose flour) - 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Nuts ( badam, cashew, rasin) - 10 (optional)
Method
Cut the manga and deseed them to remove the pulp. Blend it in a blender. Take a large kadai, add mango pulp and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk and sugar and cook in medium flame. Add maida and keep stirring. The mix becomes watery when sugar is added, then it starts to thicken. Keep it in low flame and stir occasionally. When it is moderately thickened add ghee. Also add the cardamom powder.powd for about 10 min and remove from flame. Add the roasted nuts. Refrigerate and serve.
