Godhi dosa (whole wheat dosa)

Dosa is a breakfast option loved by all. Here I have given the recipe for dosa made with whole wheat. This dosa can be prepared by the wheat flour also instantly. The wheat dosa whether prepared by atta or whole wheat doesn't need fermentation. You may also like other dosa recipe which does not need fermentation like Neer dosa
Ingredients
Whole wheat - 1 and 1/2 cup
Grated coconut - 3/4 cup
Green chilli - 3
Ginger - about 1 inch
Salt - for taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Method
Soak the whole wheat for about 6 to 8 hours. (I soak it overnight). Grind the wheat, coconut, green chillies and ginger in a mixie or grinder. Add water as necessary. The batter should be of the same consistency of any other dosa batter. Add salt for taste.
Take the dosa tawa and spread few drops of oil in it. Take a ladder of the batter and spread it in circular motion throughout the tawa. Add few drops of ghee. Cover the tawa with a lid and cook it for about 2 minutes in medium flame. Once done, remove the dosa using a spatula.
Serve hot with any chutney or sambar.
1. You can add chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves while or after grinding.
2. You can add chopped onions and make onion wheat dosa.
3. Adding green chillies and ginger is optional. The dosa tastes amazing without that also
