Cream of broccoli soup

The cream of broccoli soup is similar to the cream of mushroom soup I had posted earlier. Soups are something my son absolutely loves to drink.
Ingredients
Broccoli - 1 medium sized
Onion - 1 medium sized finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Nutmeg powder - a pinch
Oregano or Italian dried herbs - 1/2 tsp
(I use pasta masala which contains a mix of many Italian herb and gives a good taste and flavor to any creamy soup I make.)
Milk - 1 cup
Vegetable stock or water - 1 cup or more
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Pepper powder - 3 tsp
All purpose flour - 2 tsp
Salt - for taste
Method
First blanch the broccoli. Separate the broccoli florets and put them to boiling water to which salt is added. Boil it for a minute. Drain the water.
Put these blanched broccoli in blender and make a puree. Reserve a few broccoli heads.
Take a large vessel. Add 2 tbsp of butter and keep it for boiling. Add ginger garlic paste and finely chopped onions. Saute them till golden brown. Add the pureed broccoli. Add milk, vegetable stock. Keep stirring. Add pepper powder, Italian herbs, nutmeg powder and salt for taste. Allow it to boil.
Garnish with the reserve broccoli and celery (if you get).
Serve hot in soup bowls.
1. I have added boiled sweet corn for the soup.
