Soya chunks masala

Soya chunks masala - Soya nuggets available commercially are a very rich source of protein. They are also called as meal maker. This curry goes well with chapatti/naan or even jeera rice.
Ingredients
Soya chunks - 1 and 1/2 cups
Onion - 1 medium sized vertically cut
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2  tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
For the masala paste
Onion - 1 medum sized
Tomato - 2 medium sized
Cashew nut - 8 to 10
Grated Coconut (optional) - 2 tbsp
Green chilli - 2
Clove - 2
Method
Take water in a vessel and heat it. Add the soya chunks to it. Let it boil. When it becomes soft, remove it from heat. Drain the water and pour cold water to it. Drain this and repeat the process 2 to 3 times. Keep the soya chunks aside.
In a blender take the items mentioned under for the masala paste and grind it.
Take a kadai with oil. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell disappears. Add the vertically slit  onions and saute it till it becomes translucent. Add the masala paste and saute it. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Add water if needed. Add the soya chunks. Let it come to a boil. Add chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapatti/naan or jeera rice.

1. If the chunks are large, you can cut it.
