Sabudana vada
This is a Maharashtrian dish, which is done during fasting/ vrat. This is a no garlic no onion dish. (Rare in my cooking). You may also like recipe of other fried snacks like

Sabudana (sabakki/ sago grains) 1 cup
Potatoes - 3 medium sized
Groundnut - 1/4 th cup
Green chilli - finely chopped
Turmeric powder - a pinchful
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Salt - for taste
Oil - for frying
Method
Soak the sabudana overnight or for 5 - 6 hours. Drain the water. The sago grains have to be very soft.Cut the potatoes into half and boil them. Peel them. Mash them and mix with the sabudana. Dry roast the groundnut till golden. Cool it and make into a coarse powder. Add few groundnut without powdering it to the mix. Add a pinch of turmeric powder, salt and chopped green chilli. Add the lemon juice.
Mix well. You can add a teaspoon of red chilli powder for the colour. Make small balls of this mixture. Take each ball and using your hand make it flat and give a vada   shape.
Deep Fry it till golden brown in cooking oil. Your crispy sabudana vada is ready. This is best had with sweet curds.
