Momo chutney

Momo's chutney (tomato garlic chutney for Momo's)
Here I am posting the recipe for the chutney. This is nothing but tomato garlic red chilli chutney. But it is different from the red chutney given with idli and dosa in hotels.
For the recipe of Veg momos
Ingredients
For grinding
Tomato - 3 medium
Garlic bud - 10 no
Red chilli - 6 to 8
Green chilli - 1
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Pepper seeds - 1/2 tsp
Other ingredients
Oil - 2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Corander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Jeera -1/2 tsp.
Method
Take all the ingredients under " For the grinding" in a blender. Make it into a paste. It need not be very smooth.
Take a kadai with oil and heat it. Add coriander seeds and fenugreek seeds. When they change colour, add jeera seeds and allow it to splutter. Add the blended paste and keep heating. When it boils add kashmiri chilli powder for the color. The water content should evaporate and chutney should become a bit thick. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool.
Serve with the Momos.
This is a good side dish for stuffed paratha as well.
